Live streaming a first for B+LNZ Sheep Industry Awards

Technology is allowing those unable to attend this year’s Beef + Lamb New Zealand Sheep Industry Awards ceremony in Invercargill to be part of the celebrations.
Tuesday, 27 June 2017

For the first time, the event, which starts at 7pm on Wednesday 5 July, will be live-streamed, allowing anyone with a computer to watch the evening unfold from the comfort of their living room.

Beef + Lamb New Zealand’s (B+LNZ) CEO, Sam McIvor says the live streaming option will give those with friends and family who are finalists in the 10 categories the ability to watch as the overall winners are announced.

“But as the B+LNZ Sheep Industry Awards celebrate the people and genetics that make the New Zealand sheep industry world-leading, the evening will be of interest to anyone associated with the sector.”
