National Catchments Forum

The NZ Landcare Trust is hosting the National Catchments Forum on the 6/7 October 2022 at Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington. This two-day event will bring together speakers to share their knowledge and experience in catchment management.

This is an opportunity to be inspired, connect, discuss the latest innovations, and celebrate the important mahi being done to transition to more sustainable land use.

This event is aimed specifically at catchment group leaders, group members, farmers, iwi, rural professionals, agribusinesses and resource management agencies. Hear from both seasoned and new catchment management practitioners on their challenges, innovations, and learnings; learn more about water reforms; integrated farm and catchment planning; how catchment groups are addressing the climate challenge; find out how tangata whenua and mana whenua work with catchment groups around the country and so much more.

This event is proudly supported by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and the Ministry for the Environment (MfE).

Please be aware that spaces are limited and we advise that you register as soon as possible. They have received a high level of interest for this event and ask that you limit the number of attendees to a maximum of 4 per catchment group or 2 per agency/organisation in this round.

They are also offering a facilitation training workshop on Wednesday 5 of October, to catchment groups and you have the option to register for that as well at an additional cost.
