NZ Landcare Trust and B+LNZ National Catchment Group Forum

The NZ Landcare Trust and Beef + Lamb New Zealand proudly present a national catchments forum to explore sustainable freshwater management strategies. Please note that this event has been postponed to 2020.

To assist in creating healthy, sustainable Catchment Groups, this forum will provide a platform for sharing, learning and showcasing between catchment groups across New Zealand.

Two farmers from each catchment can attend the forum to be held in Christchurch in 2020, by invitation and by registering interest to attend.

It is also encouraged that those wanting to form a catchment group in their area get in touch. No matter what stage you are at, if you are interested in catchment groups and their potential to transform the way we manage natural resources in New Zealand – then this event is for you!

Topics

Some of the great sessions on offer include:

  • Getting the right people in the right place.
  • How to really engage farmers.
  • How to deal with situations when things don’t go to plan.
  • Charming the story – how to really attract attention to what you and your group are achieving.
  • Hear some great success stories from catchment groups around the country.
  • Funding the future – understanding the tips and tricks to getting access to funding.
  • Challenges going forward – overcoming the big rocks for catchment groups.
