New Zealand Grassland Association Conference 2022 | Beef + Lamb New Zealand

New Zealand Grassland Association Conference 2022

The theme of the 83rd New Zealand Grassland Association Conference is “Grazing the Deep South” and brings together farmers, scientists and agribusiness leaders. Registrations are now open.

This conference is being held for the first time in conjunction with both the Agronomy Society and the NZ Society of Animal Production enabling us to cover most research aspects of NZ agricultural systems.

Highlights of the conference will include a field tour to the Southern Dairy Hub, a visit to a working flax museum and a social gathering at the Bill Richardson Transport Museum.

Also includes an agronomy field trip to Blueberry Country and Auld Distillery – pre registration and payment required.

Please note – there is an extra charge for the NZAS field trip of $35 per person, to allow for the distillery tour. This includes a complimentary tasting for those who wish to take part.

In the event that changes to the traffic light status restricts attendance numbers this event may be postponed. Please be aware that this may be at very short notice as we will endeavour to wait as long as practicable in case of Alert Level changes that would allow us to proceed.

Full refunds will be made if the event is cancelled.
