Join us in Waipukurau for a hands-on look at real catchment solutions, including live trials of a Detainment BundPS120© and a woodchip bioreactor. This event marks the final annual Workshop and Field Day hosted by the Catchment Solutions Project team, bringing together community, science, and industry to tackle catchment-scale water quality challenges under the theme Catchment Solutions – Working Together.

Speakers

You'll hear from an exciting lineup of speakers representing the Lake Whatumā Management Group, Rangitāne o Manawatū, Tukituki Land Care / Pōrangahau–Maharakeke Catchment Group, Hawke’s Bay Regional Council, NZ Landcare Trust, and Massey University’s Farmed Landscapes Research Centre. 

Together, they will share insights from Mātauranga Māori, farming, science, and policy perspectives, exploring collaborative, targeted, and effective solutions to improve water quality.

What to expect 

  • An engaging workshop presentations and panel discussions.
