Join us for this interactive and informative workshop to develop a continuity plan for your farm and help safeguard your business for the future.

These workshops have been designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate uncertainties and safeguard your farm. Hear from industry experts and local farmers about what to do when it all goes wrong.

Each workshop will also have a lucky door prize of emergency grab and go bags, valued at more than $400.

We will cover:

  • Preparing an emergency plan for your farm.
  • How to plan for animal welfare before emergencies.
  • Tips from FMG insurance.
  • Ins and outs of backup energy systems.

These are brought to you in collaboration between multiple industry partners, thanks to the support from:

Civil Defence Northland, AgFirst, Beef +Lamb New Zealand, DairyNZ, Fonterra, Federated Farmers, FMG, Horticulture New Zealand, MPI, Northland Inc and Rural Support Trust.
