Speakers and topics
Marjan Sprock and Ariane Prichard (West Coast Vets) will discuss animal health topics including BVD management and control, and internal parasite resistance.
Rebeca Nind (OSPRI) will present the latest information on the NAIT scheme and farmer responsibilities around this.
Tom Fraser will lead a discussion on planning for next year’s winter crops. While it may seem that this is a long way off, now is the time to start planning to achieve yields as close to potential as possible. Topics being covered include – paddock selection, fertiliser requirements (what and when) and what species to sow depending on stock class.
