The North Waikato B+LNZ Farming For Profit group invites you to attend this field day at Lance and Robyn Kerr’s Rotongaro property to explore opportunities for maximising profit.
The Kerrs have experience in finishing prime steers for specialist programmes and providing cash crops to the dairy industry. They are now planning to explore the potential of Solar Generation on a commercial scale with a joint venture. They will also demonstrate how their small scale solar generation operation can be applied to most farmers.
An interesting aspect of their proposal is that they plan to farm under these solar panels. The group will discuss the financial outcomes of this proposal to help farmers make an informed decision.
