  • Emma Poole – FMG Young Farmer of the Year 2023 Winner. Emma has been involved in Young farmers for 10 years at both the club and competition level. In 2019 she was a Grand finalist placing third. This year she was the first female to win the FMG Young Farmer of the Year. Emma grew up with her five siblings on their family farm at Muriwai Beach. She attended university in Palmerston North and studied a bachelor of Veterinary science, where she met her husband Chris who was studying agriculture at the time. Following the completion of their degrees they both moved to Chris's home farm in Pirongia, Waikato. Together along with Chris’s parents they now run an 1100 cow dairying operation across two farms. An important part of their business is also rearing 1000 calves every year which they sell to local beef finishing farms.
  • Te Radar – Takes an irreverent look at why we need to celebrate the past when looking to the future. Te Radar is one of the most recognised entertainers and personalities in New Zealand. Whether as a standup comedian, documentary maker or the fusion of both in his keynote speeches, he is as gregarious as he is accomplished. Having won just about every New Zealand comedy award from the Fred Award to the Billy T Award for excellence in comedy, he also has a myriad of accolades in documentary making from the Qantas Awards in Film and Television to the NZ Television Awards. In 2018 he received an honorary Master of Arts degree from Wintec for his contribution to Media and Entertainment.
