B+LNZ Facial Eczema Workshop: Upper Moutere

In this workshop the latest information and research is presented on Facial Eczema. Facial Eczema is a potentially devastating disease and by the time you see symptoms, the damage may already be done.

What is Facial Eczema and what effect does it have on my animals? What are the warning signs? How can I protect my animals now and also reduce my risk long term?

Join us for an interactive session covering what FE damage looks like, and a discussion on approaches to management including breeding for resistance and other on-farm tools.

This event is supported by DairyNZ.

Guest speaker

Joe Bennett from Town & Country Vets.

New improvements to how B+LNZ manages events

We now have a new event website that offers additional features, and we’ve made further improvements since it was launched. Find out more about the new events website here.

COVID-19 event protocols

There will be some changes to how events are run so that we adhere to the government’s COVID-19 requirements: COVID-19.govt.nzIn particular, B+LNZ needs to manage risks, and have the ability to contact trace attendees if anything were to happen.

  • It is imperative that every individual pre-registers for any B+LNZ events to avoid the risk of being turned away upon arrival.
  • If you have cold or flu symptoms, please stay at home.
