This night is all about picking up a few tips and hearing from a range of industry professionals speak on the challenges and opportunities facing our industry.

Richard Rennie - A brief overview of the emerging Indian market as the country accelerates its development plans and sees a rapidly emerging middle class of 500million in the next 5-7 years- opportunities for NZ producers, challenges and developments in the NZ-India relationship, and the less than likely emergence of a free trade deal in the next few years, and how to overcome that with a different approach to the relationship.

Geoff Pridham NZAB - Geoff has experienced a number of roles in the private sector, owning and managing businesses as well as running large teams in Commercial & Agri Banking across 13 years with roles in South Canterbury, Waikato, Manawatu and the general lower North Island.
Prior to this, Geoff was based overseas involved in the livestock export trade mainly to the Middle East and Southeast Asia.  Geoff strengths include understanding people, their business and their goals and helping them achieve these.  Geoff comes from a farming background and is still personally involved in the Agricultural sector.

Phil Weir - Phil Weir is a farmer, agribusiness consultant and recently began contributing to the Farmers Weekly eating the elephant column.  Phil will talk about his varied experiences and how they can relate to farming today and maybe in the years ahead.
